Over 300 households in Kisa Central ward, Khwisero Sub County have a reason to smile after a community water project was commissioned.
Area MP Christopher Aseka said the project is a key milestone in providing a sustainable water solution that is a fundamental need for the residents.
He said the project would produce 64,000 liters of clean water daily which will be supplied to the whole community.
The MP who spoke in his constituency said the project will also enable the supply of water to Mundeku and Emutsesa primary schools as well as Emutsesa Girls Secondary School.
The Water project was installed and commissioned in the two primary schools as well as in the Community under one sub-location, one community water project initiative.
“The project will impact positively to the residents in Mulwanda and Emutsesa sub-locations within the sub-county who have been in dire need of water supply,” he noted.
The legislature also extended gratitude to the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) Chairman James Waore and Managing Director Wycliffe Ochiaga for their unwavering support and collaboration for the project’s success.
