Voters wait in line to cast their vote at the Kenyatta stadium in Maralal Samburu County.
Samburu West Returning Officer Benard Mutali told KNA that the exercise kicked off smoothly at 6am with a few people streaming in to exercise their constitutional right.
Mutali added that adequate measures have been put in place in all the polling centers to ensure the exercise is successful.
“We are expecting more voter turnout during the day.” He said.
