As Kenyans commemorates the customer service week, the Huduma centre outlet in Eldoret town has stood out as one of the remarkable government service providers.
The Regional Manager Mr. Cyprian Birgen said, “We know that great customer service is the key to successful business, I applaud our esteemed customers and frontline employees for their efforts in sustaining customer inclusion and providing excellent customer service.”
Huduma centre services are a one-stop-shop solution offering: Police abstract registration, National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Compliance Certificate, National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and birth/death registration among other services.
“We have handled over 3,000,000 clients since the establishment of this Huduma centre in 2014 and 433,794 since the beginning of this year. We have a queue management system which enhance service delivery, helping customers to be attended to in real time,” said Birgen.
Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Dr Eddyson Nyale has asked members of the public to take advantage of the various government services offered at Huduma Centre.
Dr Nyale who spoke at the launch of customer service week reminded Kenyans that it is their right to get good services without discrimination.
“I request the residents to make use of the customer service week to get services and also give feedback on areas they feel need improvement, as we look forward to offering quality services to residents in line with government policies,” said the County Commissioner.
During the service week the Huduma centre staff have teamed up with Health providers to give both internal and external customers free medical check-up and advisory services.
