The under 15 national team is set to travel to Spain over the weekend for mic tournament which will start on the 17th of April, 2019.
The team has been training for the past two and a half months and have played five build up matches, the last one being against rift valley FC.
The under 15 coach David Ouma is confident the team after the two- and a-half months training has gained the necessary exposure in readiness for the tournament since they will take on giant teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester city who are also expected to take part in the mic tournament in Costa Brava, Spain.
“We hope to be in the 2022 and 2026 World Cup respectively,” said Ouma who also highlighted the key players who were not in training including the captain of the team James Gachoga who is in United Kingdom but said that two will link up with the team in Spain.
“I am happy to be in the under15 national team after graduating from the under13,” said Hamisi Nyale, observing that they have adequately prepared and as such there set pieces, passing, shooting and crossing is excellent.
“Getting into under15 team is not an easy thing once you are in you feel happy cause it’s your effort that makes you selected for the national team,” said Hamisi.
The two spoke on Thursday during a media brief on the upcoming tournament.
