Two people who were arrested for possessing wildlife carcasses weighing 11 Kilogrammes, they were arraigned today at a Hola Court.
They were found with 11 kilogrammes carcass of wildlife meat, namely lesser kudu (Tragelaphus imberbis), Dik-dik and hares.
The duo were arrested in Alemish village, Ijara Sub – county in Garissa. The accused Hussein Safari Abass, was charged jointly with his accomplice who wasn’t before the court.
The accused appeared before the Hola Law Court, Principal Magistrate Aloyce Ndege and were released on surety of Sh200, 000 or cash bail of Sh70, 000.
