Central Gem location residents were this morning reeling in shock after the body of area member of the County Assembly’s Personal Assistant was found lying in a foot path in Siriwo village.
The Personal Assistant, Jack Omondi’s body was found with deep cuts near his home in what villagers feared that he might have been killed elsewhere before his lifeless body was dumped at the site.
Central Gem Location Chief, Mr Barrack Oloo, said they suspect the deceased could have been murdered elsewhere before his assailants carried the body and dumped it at the foot path where it was found.
Oloo said that the body was picked by police officers who took it to Rabuor Community Hospital mortuary for post mortem.
“We cannot ascertain exactly what happened but the police have launched investigations” said the Chief who appealed for calm.
He, however, called on the public to help the security agents with information that could lead to the arrest of those behind the heinous act.
