Residents of Seme zone in Kisumu County are full of praise for the Kisumu Senator, Tom Ojienda for coming to their rescue by fixing a popularly used foot bridge, Oluti Lunga that had become a death trap to the residents.
Led by Benta Achieng’ Seme residents decried the dangerous status of the Lunga bridge which has been neglected for many years endangering the lives many especially school-going children and the elderly.
“We thank the senator for coming to our rescue over the Oluti Lung’a killer bridge that endangers the lives of area residents and he has hearkened to our distress call,” Benter Achieng exclaimed.
“I sincerely thank Prof. Tom Ojienda because he has shown sensitivity to the needs of his supporters who have stood with him all through hence he has done well on fixing the dangerous Oluti Lunga foot bridge” explained Joash.
