Samburu county peace committee chairman Mr. Jackson Lodungokiyok has died.
According to family sources Jackson Lodungokiyok had been suffering from hypertension and collapsed at his home within Lolmolok area Friday at around 4pm.
The family added that he died while being rushed to Mararal hospital and his body is being preserved at the same hospital’s morgue.
Samburu county commissioner Mr. John Korir described Lodungokiok’s death as a big loss to the county and called for calm as police investigate the matter.
