Robbers Break into a Church in Lugari

A gang of robbers broke into a Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) church in Lumakanda location of Lugari Sub County and made away with property worth Sh. 15,000.
The church pastor Albert Kebeya said the robbers gained entry into the church after breaking one of the windows on Monday night.
He said they entered into the pastor’s room where they took a pair of bed sheets, blankets, a gas cylinder, his suit and cash all totaling to Sh.15, 000.
The pastor said it was discovered by a resident who was passing near the church and got concerned after seeing the broken window before he informed the church leaders.
Mwamba sub location Assistant Chief Edwin Nashirobe said one suspect has been arrested following the incident and is being held at the Lumakanda police station helping in the investigation.
