Residents of Kapsimotwo and Singorwet trading centres in Bomet Central have been given stern warning against unruly behaviour towards law enforcement officers.
Bomet Central Sub County police Commander Omar Imamai, while speaking to the press said a section of the public in the said centres last week beat up a police officer while others pelted them with stones as they enforced the nationwide dusk to dawn curfew.
Omar said the culprits engaged police in a cat and mouse games with the bodaboda group being notoriously defiant and using their motorcycles to intentionally mock the police.
He warned that a contingent of the law enforcement officers has been sent to the said areas saying the law must take course in ensuring measures issued by the Health Ministry were adhered to.
