Mandera County residents are now appealing to President Ruto Administration for their share in the government development agenda.
Residents now want the Kenya Kwanza Administration to consider the region as one of its top priorities in fostering development.
Nasra Abdi, a resident in Mandera East said the region has lagged behind in terms of development.
She added that the new Administration should consider putting in place developments such as construction of new roads to ease transport.
On health care, many residents asked for construction of new hospitals and equipping the existing ones with medicine and laboratory equipment.
The residents appealed to the President to consider deploying new teachers in the region, to end rampant tutors’ shortage in the area.
The new Administration also urged to work for area residents.
