Public servants asked to work better to improve service delivery

Out-going Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Jim Njoka has asked Kenyans to turnout in large numbers and register for NIIMs commonly known as HudumaNamba.
Njoka who was speaking when he handed over to Samson Ojwang at the same time asked public servants to offer better services to wanainchi.
Njoka is moving to Kirinyaga where they are swopping places with Ojwang in the same capacity.
He said HudumaNamba was going to relieve Kenyans of many registrations as Kenyans will carry one number from birth to death.
“All registrations will be grounded into one number and Kenyans should embrace the HudumaNamba initiative that will enable the government serve them even better,” he said.
Njoka has served in Trans Nzoia for less than two months after coming to head Trans Nzoia as County commissioner on promotion.
He was the DCC Naivasha before moving to Trans-Nzoia.
He hailed departmental heads for supporting each other by ensuring that wananchi get better services.
Ojwang appealed for support of departmental heads saying teamwork will enable them deliver better services to residents.
