The Al shabaab militia shot dead a Kenya Police Reservist (KPR) at Bulagolol area in Fafi constituency in Garissa County during a heavy exchange of fire with Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
Confirming the incident, the Hulugho Deputy County Commissioner, Bernard ole Kipury said the incident happened while the officer was on duty.
He reiterated that the Al shabaab militia had been repulsed. It is believed that two militants suffered injuries forcing their colleagues to carry them away towards the border as they fled the KDF hail of bullets.
