Over 800 police officers have been deployed in all the examinations centres in Nyeri County to ensure exams go on uninterrupted as 2019 National examination for primary and secondary schools start October 29 and November 4.
Speaking to Media in his office on Tuesday, the County Commissioner (CC), Yatich Kipkemei said about 17,300 candidates are registered for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations (KCPE) while18,325 for Kenya certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations in the County.
He said there are 243 centres for Secondary examinations and 505 centres for primary examinations.
Kipkemei assured the public that there will be no leakage in 2019 National Examinations for primary and secondary schools.
