Moses Koskei from Nyahururu is the Kenya Seed Classic Golf series tournament champion for 2022.
Koskei thrashed his main rival, Ruth Kae, in this year’s tournament, at Kitale Golf Club.
The two days event was organized by Kenya Seed and attracted a total of 120 golfers from different clubs in the country and across neighbouring countries.
Koskei managed to beat Kae despite the latter’s home advantage.
“Pressure to win was very high,” admitted the elated Nyahururu golfer.
Speaking to KNA, Kae, who is Kenya Ladies Golf Union representative for western region, said the match between her and Koskei was exciting. The victor took home a Jersey Heifer.
Former KRA boss, Mr John Njiraini and Kenya Seed Company Managing Director, Mr Fred Oloibe, were among the participants.
