Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu has extended his condolences to families, relatives and friends of those affected by the recent tragic gas explosion in Embakasi area, Nairobi.
In a message sent to the media outlets in Narok County, Ntutu sent wishes of strength and solace during this incredibly difficult time for the affected.
“On behalf of the Narok County residents, I wish to send my deepest condolences to all those affected in the inferno. Our hearts go out to those who lost their dear ones,” read part of condolence message.
To those injured, the governor wished them a quick recovery, calling on those who had been injured to report to the Red Cross Society for support during this difficult time.
“In times like these, unity, and collective care can make a significant difference,” said the governor.
The Embakasi tragedy occurred Thursday after a lorry loaded with liquid petroleum gas cylinders exploded and set off a late-night inferno that burned neighbouring homes, killing at least three people and injuring more than 280.
