The ultra-modern Naromoru Level 4 Hospital in Kieni, Nyeri county is nearing completion
The Sh. 335 million health facility is expected to decongest the Nyeri Teaching and Referral hospital and ease the suffering of Kieni residents who have had to seek specialised treatment in neighboring hospitals in either Nyeri, Karatina or Nyahururu hospitals. The construction of the 175 bed capacity hospital was jointly funded by the county government of Nyeri and the World Bank under the Kenya Devolution Support Programme (KDSP).
