Narok family in agony over missing son

A family in Enabelbel area, Narok North Sub County is living in agony following the disappearance of their 16 year old son on January 5, 2022.

Ms. Hannah Sein Nampaso who is a single mother said their son William Lemayian, went missing on the eve of the day he was to report back to school.

The boy was a class seven pupil at Highlight Academy, in Narok town and was living with his grandmother in Narok town when he went missing.

His mother recalled on the day that Lemayian went missing, he was in the house of his grandmother and was preparing to go to school, but when he failed to show up for breakfast, the grandmother went to look for him in his bedroom but could not find him.

It is then that the grandmother reported to the mother, who together inquired from their relatives if the young teenage boy had visited their homesteads.

Their efforts of searching for Lemayian were futile as he was not with any of their relatives or close friends.

“My boy was an obedient boy and loved school. When I transferred him to the private boarding school, he started performing well and promised me he will be among the best pupils in his class,” said the mother with tears freely flowing from her eyes.

Ms. Nampaso told KNA that after three days, she decided to report the incident to the police where the incident was entered in the Occurrence Book (OB).

Since then, the family has been looking for the boy in vain and are now calling on the members of the public who could be having any information about the minor to report to the nearest police station or call the boy’s mother via her mobile phone 0728338717.
