Roret Dispensary in Mosop Ward, Rongai Sub-County, which serves a significant population of about 1,500 patients monthly, on Tuesday convened a crucial meeting to address administrative challenges and bolster Mpox prevention efforts.
County Executive Committee Member for Health Ms. Roselyn Mungai, joined the nursing team, led by Rebecca Yatich and Lisa Kipyegon, to devise strategies for enhancing the facility operations and efficiency.
The discussions centered on expediting solutions to administrative bottlenecks and implementing stringent Mpox prevention measures to safeguard the health of the community.
Ms..Mungai said regular monthly meetings are essential because they assist the county to identify and address issues promptly, leading to timely solutions.
She observed that the meetings provided opportunities to discuss the latest healthcare trends, best practices, and guidelines, ensuring that the facilities remain up-to-date.
“The County remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering quality healthcare and effectively addressing emerging health concerns,” emphasized Ms. Mungai.
One obvious achievement of the Nakuru County Government is the numerous health centres that have been constructed in the last 14 years, since the inception of devolution.
