Nairobi to experience showers in some areas in the next one week

Nairobi County is expected to experience rains over few places in the mornings and showers over several places in the afternoons, this week.
However, from Friday to Sunday, sunny intervals are expected in the morning but in the afternoon showers might occur in few places.
Giving the weekly weather update for Nairobi County Thursday, County meteorological Director, Mary Kilavi said On Monday, November 26 andTuesday, November 27, the county is likely to experience mainly sunny intervals with only a slight chance of showers over few places in the afternoon.
“The rainfall during the week is expected to be of moderate intensity”, she said.
Last week, Kilavi said the County experienced mainly sunny intervals from Tuesday to Friday but on Saturday and Monday this week, morning rains and afternoon showers occurred over several places.
“The rainfall last week was of moderate intensity but it was slightly heavy at few locations”, she said adding that the highest amount recorded was 26.1mm at Dagoretti station on Monday.
