Murang’a Seal and Shabana Football Clubs are set to feature in the 2023–24 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League.
They both mastered identical scores of 1-0 in their 34 rounds of matches played this weekend, sealing their promotion.
A statement from FKF indicates that Murang’a Seal have amassed 64 points, leading at the top on goal difference with two matches to play, and Shabana also have 64 points in position two, with three matches to play.
Fighting for the promotion play-off spot are Mara Sugar with 53 points and Migori Youth with 53 points. Gusii closes out the top five in the FKF National Super League standings.
Results for other matches played in round 34 of the FKF National Super League on Saturday 17 are Mara Sugar FC 1 SS Assad FC 2 (Awendo Green Stadium), Kibera Black Stars 0 Darajani Gogo FC 1 (Ligi Ndogo Grounds).
Naivas FC beat Kajiado FC 2-1 in a match played at Camp Toyoyo Grounds, while Vihiga United FC lost 0-1 to visitors Mombasa Elite FC. The match was played at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Sunday’s results are Shabana FC 1 Migori Youth FC 0, Mwatate United FC 2 Silibwet FC (Wundanyi Stadium), 0. Coastal Heroes FC lost 0-1 to Murang’a Seal FC in a match played at Mbaraki Sports Club.
