Mulyungi beats opponents to retain his seat

Mwingi Central Member of Parliament Gideon Mulyungi has successfully defended his Mwingi Central parliamentary seat on Wiper ticket by trouncing his opponents in the August 9th Election.

Constituency Returning officer James Mbai declared Mulyungi the winner after he garnered 36,509 votes against his competitor Lydia Mutambu of Jubilee party who got 7,240.

He thanked the electorates for giving him a second chance to serve them.

Mulyungi pledged to continue embracing development and work for the people of Mwingi Central. He attributed his re-election to his proper service delivery to his constituents.
