Igembe North Member of Parliament Julius Taitumu has promised to increase and improve infrastructure in schools in the region to accommodate the increasing number of learners due to 100 per cent transition.
Taitumu was speaking on Friday at Nkiriana Primary School in Antuambui Ward, Igembe North sub-county, during Nyambene North Synod Education Day.
The MP noted that his unwavering commitment to ensuring quality education in his sub-county will see him improve the deplorable state of some infrastructure in the schools and ensure enough learning resources.
