Five hundred households of Lurambi village and Lurambi Primary School community in Kakamega Central Sub-County have benefited from a water project courtesy of Mozzart Bet Company.
The company manager Sasha Krnetta said the project was funded to the tune of Sh. 2.1 million and it includes a borehole and sixteen solar panels for pumping the water to various points at the school.
Speaking during the official handing over of the project on Wednesday, Krnetta said it was the second to be completed after a similar one was handed over in Homa bay County last week.
He added that the company intends to put up 100 such projects across the country where they will be doing three every month to ensure that public learning institutions and neighbouring residents have access to safe and clean water.
He promised that the company will soon start supporting schools in terms of infrastructure.
