Molo Bus Park launched

The Nakuru County Government has injected Sh. 13 million for the rehabilitation of the Molo Bus Park.

Speaking in Molo town during the launch of the project, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika said that this will help promote development in the area as business people will have better working conditions.

“Molo Bus Park will be rehabilitated into a modern, efficient, and user-friendly transportation center that will not only meet the needs of our residents but also contribute to the economic growth and development of our beautiful town,” said Kihika.

This, according to the Governor, will go a long way in her administration’s commitment to fostering a sustainable social-economic environment for community development.

The rehabilitation works will include upgrading of the drainage system and constructing shades, toilets, and mounting lights to enhance security among other amenities that derail operations at the park.

Additionally, the Governor urged the locals to utilize the facility well once it becomes operational to allow for proper revenue collection and have a good working rapport with those in charge.

“The County is committed to serving the business people better and therefore ensure you pay your taxes well to effectively deliver to your needs and other planned projects,” noted Kihika.

Business people were optimistic that this move will attract more customers and better their businesses.
