The Samburu County Health team on Wednesday undertook a Covid-19 health simulation exercise at Maralal County Referral Hospital focusing on screening, pre-isolation, isolation, treatment and how to put on and remove protective gear (doffing).
The drill on how to handle Covid-19 patients was presided over by Acting County Secretary, Bosco Ole Sambu accompanied by the Health CEC Member, Stephen Lekupe and his Chief Officer, Sam Nakope.
The health simulation exercise was aimed at enhancing health workers’ Covid-19 clinical skills and competencies.
The simulation training provides a safe environment for learning.
