Police are looking for a 29-year-old man who murdered his brother in Letukunyi village in Narosoora area in Narok South after a domestic quarrel.
Confirming the incident, Narok South OCPD Mr. Anthony Shimoli said the suspect; Noah Nateya picked a quarrel with his younger brother Sadaruan Nateya, 27 at around 10pm Sunday and hit Sadaruan on the head with a Maasai rungu.
The victim died on the spot and on discovering that the victim was dead, the suspect went underground.
Police have launched a manhunt for him.
The body of the deceased is now at Narok Referral Hospital mortuary pending postmortem and further investigations into the incident.
According to a police crime report released in 2017, murder is still one of leading crimes committed in Kenya every year second only to carjacking and puts Kenya at position 10 on the list of countries with the highest crime rates in the world.
