A 20-year-old man drowned on Tuesday afternoon in a dam in Ole Sere village in Talek area in Narok West .
Confirming the incident, Narok West Sub County police commander Christine Kola said the man who has been identified as Soitanae Musiorori had gone to bathe in the dam at around 3:00pm when he slipped and drowned in the dam.
There were no people to rescue him as he is said to have been alone at the time of the incident.
The body was retrieved and moved to Narok Referral Hospital Mortuary pending postmortem and further investigations into the incident.
