A 57-year-old man committed suicide in his father’s house in Nthangathi village Kaumoni sub location in Makueni Sub-County under unclear circumstances.
The deceased was identified as Ndunda Muloka used a belt to hang himself on the roof where he was found by his father Mr. Muloka Mumbe at around 11a.m.
According to the Makueni Subcounty police Commander, Timothy Maina, the deceased had been sick and nobody knows the time he hanged himself or the motive behind committing search an act.
“The incident was reported to the police by Kilala location Chief Patrick Kaloki. The deceased is separated with his wife and was staying in his father’s house,” said Maina on the telephone with Kenya News Agency.
He disclosed that the body of the deceased was taken to the Makueni Referral Hospital Mortuary for preservation awaiting postmortem.
