Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has urged investors to consider the county as a choice to put up industrial ventures saying his government is ready to provide land.
Mutula disclosed that such ventures would not only create employment opportunities but will boost the national economy.
He said this in his Wote town office while issuing a land lease title deed to Eni Kenya Managing Director Enrico Tavolin.
“The issuance of the title deed has marked a tangible commitment for my administration to facilitate flourishing of industries within the county,” Mutula said while speaking to the media.
Eni Kenya, has established the first Sh 2 billion factory plant for Agri-hub that produces vegetable oil and related bio-products and has employed over 200 young men from the county.
Mr Enrico has pledged to contribute to the community’s welfare by establishing a maternity facility at Kambi Mawe market and providing neonatal equipment to Makueni County Referral hospital.
