Khwisero Member of Parliament (MP) Christopher Aseka has unveiled a program dubbed ‘Fukuza Njaa’ that aims to ensure food security in the area.
The MP said the project, also geared towards training farmers on efficient farming techniques for bumper harvests will be under Aseka Miradi Foundation.
“I will work towards a brighter and more prosperous future for our people,” he said while meeting Miradi women sub-location leaders in his constituency office.
Aseka said he will meet leaders and residents to strategize and collaboratively chart out a road map for ‘Fukuza Njaa’ programme.”
The MP said through the Ministry of Agriculture, they will seek more extension services and advice for better harvests in the region adding already the Ministry through the Crop Development office has conducted training sessions for some women leaders.
“I must offer my gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture officials for conducting training sessions for some of my constituents,” he stated.
