A man who on Friday killed his two children is expected to be charged with murder following his arrest at Mogogosiek last Saturday.
Peter Langat had remained at large after killing his two sons following a quarrel with his wife over maize flour.
Konoin Sub-County Police Commander Alex Shikondi said the suspect was spotted at Mogogosiek Trading Centre and after he was arrested, police recovered the machete he used to commit murder.
Shikondi said the suspect had ordered his wife not to cook ugali using maize flour he had earlier bought unless she made her contribution as she had gainful employment as nursery teacher.
He said hell broke loose when the wife ignored the warning, with the suspect brandishing a sharp machete, prompting her to flee to her neighbourhood.
Langat is however said to have caught up with them but when his wife escaped through a window, he turned his anger on his children aged 8 and 5.
