Head of Kenya News Agency (KNA) in the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs Joseph Kipkoech and his bride Irene Jerop jumped the broom last Saturday in Kapsowar.
The colourful wedding ceremony kicked off with a church service at St Mary’s Kapsowar Catholic church which was presided over by Father Benjamin Kanda.
Father Kanda advice the couple to complement each other in building a strong Christian foundation at their home under the principles of the Biblical teachings. “Go to church and get spiritual nourishment and guidance in your marriage,” he added.
He urged the nuptials to strictly observe biblical teachings as the head of the family and hold prayers more often to get Gods favour.
Kipkoech’s co-workers’ ,the family and friends alike showered the newly wed with congratulatory messages and wished them well in their life journey together.
Marakwet West legislator William Kisang graced the occasion that was characterized by traditional songs and dances.
