The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations kicked off in Samburu County today morning without any hiccups.
Speaking to KNA after opening the examination container, Samburu County Commissioner (CC) Henry Wafula, said that all necessary measures has been put in place to ensure the smooth running of the delicate exercise.
“Security in and around secondary schools is assured and we have established a command center here in Maralal which will relay real-time information to Nairobi and tackle any challenges that may arise,” he said.
Wafula noted that 2,636 candidates would be sitting their exams in 46 schools across the county.
