Kamolo, Mabale Go Top of FKF in Busia County Lleague

A win over the weekend saw Kamolo FC and Mabale United top their respective zones in Odibets Busia County League.
        Kamolo displaced Malaba Giants after hammering Kakurikit FC 5-1 at Kakurikit Primary School

Captain Eugene Okello scored a hat trick, the first since the start of the season. Oscar Omusugu and Moses Juma netted a goal each.

        The big win saw Kamolo top Zone A with seven points from three matches. Kekalet who beat Lupida 1-0 at Lupida Primary school are second with six points.

         Early pacesetters Malaba Giants’ hopes of consolidating their lead were shattered when they battled to a 2-2 draw with St Anthony Okatekok at Okatekok Primary School.

         Boca and FC Amagoro settled for a 2-2 draw in a tough encounter played at Malaba Stadium.

Mabale United shot to the top of Zone B after edging Busia Youth Centre 1-0 at Busia County Stadium.

They tied on seven points with Dragon but had advantage of goal difference.

        Butula Eagles who topped the zone were given a rude shock by Ajax who trounced them 4-1 at Okame Primary school with a brace from Haggai Moses Itapara while Edwin Okarikodi and Rasmo Denilson accounted for one goal each.

      The Butula side has dropped to third position with six points. Ajax lie fourth with five points, the same as Mungatsi who stunned Masters 2-0 at Mungatsi Primary School with goals from Silas Ouma and Gilbert Eshirere. Goal difference separates the two teams.

        In Zone B clash at Mundika Primary School, David Kisala scored the only goal to give Green Canopy win over Young Rovers Otimong.
