Outgoing Kajiado County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha has handed over to his successor Wilson Wanyanga.
Nkanatha has moved to Kiambu County after serving in Kajiado for 3years.
Speaking during the handover ceremony held at the Count Commissioner’s boardroom in Kajiado, Nkanatha thanked the County Heads of Department and the Deputy County Commissioners for making his service to the people of the county enjoyable.
“I want to appreciate all of you for the support, commitment and teamwork you have accorded me during my tenure in Kajiado. It was a pleasure working with all of you and I want you to relay the same to the Incoming commissioner,” said Nkanatha.
On his part, Mr. Wanyanga who is also the County Commissioners Chairman committed to work closely with the Kajiado team.
“I want us to work together and help the president to achieve the Big Four Agenda for the good of our country. Being an electioneering period, I urge all of us to be peace ambassadors so that the country remains peaceful even during and after this period,” said Wanyanga.
The reshuffle which was announced by Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho affected other 4 county commissioners including Jim Njoka, Muhamed Barre, Abdulla Hiddi and Moses Ivuto.
