The jubilee health insurance has launched a pioneering digital platform J-Force, a digital health access insurance solution that is set to transform the insurance industry by enhancing efficiency, expanding healthcare access and boost intermediary productivity.
J-Force is considered to be an ‘insurance game changer’ poised to provide seamless onboarding and digital solutions for intermediaries to sell policies effectively, manage leads and monitor policy insurance in real time and expand health insurance access and penetration in Kenya.
Jubilee Health Insurance, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Njeri Jomo speaking at the launch, emphasized the role of collaboration in expanding insurance coverage stating, “Because for us as a business, we believe in collaboration, and as you know, for us at Jubilee, we tell you that there is a way.”
As Kenya drives towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Jomo stressed that increased insurance penetration is a crucial goal as she underscored the role of J-Force in achieving the same.
“By making policy issuance seamless and serving customers efficiently, we have the opportunity to get more people covered and reduce out-of-pocket expenses,” she remarked.
With only 26 percent of Kenyans having any form of health insurance, the CEO pointed out that millions remain without insurance coverage, relying on out-of-pocket payments.
Further, Jomo highlighted the critical issues facing the sector, reiterating that the majority of their customers rely on out-of-pocket payments.
Nevertheless, she reaffirmed Jubilee’s commitment to enhance health insurance accessibility through digital innovation.
“We will continue to equip you with world-class digital tools, making health insurance easier, faster, and more inclusive,” assured Jomo.
In his remarks, Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Jubilee Holdings Juan Cazcarra noted that the event has marked a significant milestone in Jubilee’s digital transformation journey.
Reflecting on the progress made, Cazcarra disclosed that the journey had taken approximately one and half to two years, during which many developments had occurred.
He acknowledged that this particular milestone was the one they truly needed and had been long overdue.
With the launch of J-Force, the COO mentioned that Jubilee aims to redefine insurance accessibility through innovation, ensuring that every Kenyan receives the health coverage they need.
“Our mission is clear—to redefine insurance access through innovation. This is how we remain the market leader: by constantly innovating, adapting, and delivering what matters the most,” asserted Cazcarra.
