Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government Dr. Fred Matiang’i, who is also the Chair of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Energy addresses the media on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Kenya School of Government after presiding over the launch of Steering Committee on the Implementation of the Recommendations of the Presidential Taskforce on the Power Purchase Agreement (PPAs).
He is flanked by Cabinet Secretary for Energy, Amb. (DR.) Monica Juma (left) and Cabinet Secretary for Defense, Eugene Wamalwa and two members of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Energy.
The Presidential Taskforce on the Review of Power Purchase Agreements will chaired by John Ngumi and deputized by Dr. Elizabeth Muli. It was converted to the Steering Committee on the Implementation of the Recommendations of the Presidential Taskforce on the Power Purchase Agreement (PPAs), after presenting their report to President Uhuru Kenyatta on September 29, 2021.
