Governor reshuffles Government

Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi over the weekend carried out a reshuffle of Chief Officers in various dockets.
In a circular issued by the Acting County Secretary Abdullahi Hassan Maalim and availed to the media the Chief Officers affected from the departments of Finance, Health, Trade and Education must ensure they hand over by Monday November 9.
“Pursuant to section 31 (d) and 45 (5) of the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the following officers have been transferred with immediate effect,” reads part of the circular.
Those affected include Abdullahi Hassan who will oversee Finance and Audit Services, Rahma Dekow Omar, Economic Planning, Budgeting and Statistics, Abdirahman Abdille, Revenue and Resource Mobilisation.
Others who have been transferred are Adan Omar Enow, Public Health and Sanitation, Yusuf Dayib Noor, Education and Vocational Training, Nur Sheikh, Trade and Cooperative Development and Bere Amin who moves to Manufacturing, Investments and Industrial Development.
