FKF Women benefit from Administrators course

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President, Nick Mwendwa, has called on the FKF Women Representatives to fully utilize the skills they have acquired during the Women Administrators course which came to a close yesterday.

Mwendwa said that the women have acquired necessary skills that will in the long run help actualize the recently launched FKF Women’s Football Strategy in their respective counties.

Mwendwa who presided over the closing ceremony of the course at the Kenya School of Special Education, said that the administration course was initiated by the Football Kenya Federation in conjunction with FIFA with an aim of equipping the 51 participants with the necessary skills to actualize the recently launched FKF Women Football Strategy.

A statement to newsrooms indicates that the FKF Vice President, Doris Petra, FKF CEO Barry Otieno, and FKF National Executive Committee (NEC) Women Representative, Margaret Omondi, also graced the event.

Petra urged the FKF Women Representatives to continue the good work they are currently doing in their counties.

“I would like to urge the FKF Women Representatives to pick the skills they have attained during this course and go and apply them in their respective counties,” said Petra.

The course covered Leadership Skills, Sponsorship Management, Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, Project Management, Marketing, and Communication and Media Management.
