The family of former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo who died earlier in the week want the cause of his death investigate
His elder brother, Dr George Jalang’o Midiwo, asked detectives to established what caused his death after he was suddenly taken ill before he lost the battle for his life at a Nairobi hospital.
The family demands come ahead of planned post-mortem on the deceased to reveal the cause of death. The body is at the Lee Funeral Home.
Midiwo served as Gem MP from 2007 to 2017 when he lost to current MP Elisha Otieno.
Meanwhile Fallen tycoon Chris Kirubi will be laid to rest at his farm in Thika on Saturday.
The send -off programme for the business mogul, popularly referred to as CK will be preceded by a funeral mass service at the Faith Evangelistic church in Karen.
