The Embu Level 5 Hospital has gotten a major boost after the hospital received drugs worth Sh20 million from the Kenya Medical Supply Authority (KEMSA).
This is a huge sigh of relief to patients seeking medical attention at the health facility after it has been badly hit by a low supply of pharmaceutical and other non-medical commodities.
While receiving the consignment, the County Executive Committee member for health Zachary Mukundi said the supply is a big boost to the county’s ailing sector saying that the supply will go a long way in serving patients, adding that the supply took personal intervention of area Governor Martin Wambora.
Mukundi called on the Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to actively play their oversight role, with a view to ensuring frequent and stable supply of medicine to all county health facilities.
