Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki today attended a church service in Karima, Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga County. The DP later presided over the ground breaking ceremony for construction of AIPCA Chapel in Karima.
This is the first visit to the County since he was elevated from Cabinet Secretary Interior to the Deputy President to replace the ousted Rigathi Gachagua.
He was accompanied by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Andrew Karanja, Ndia MP George Kariuiki, Githinji Gichumu -Gichugu, Wainana Njoroge -Kieni ,Karuria Njoroge -Gatundu North and Kirinyaga County leadership.
