Deputy President (DP), William Ruto, cast his vote at Kosachei Primary School, a few minutes after 6am, Tuesday, in a brief address after voting, the DP who was accompanied by his Wife, Racheal Ruto, Nandi Senator, Samson Cherargei, among others asked Kenyans to exercise their constitutional right to vote by electing any candidate of their choice without intimidation or coercion. He also emphasized the need for peace during and after the elections.
