The department of Information is mourning the demise of two senior scribes who recently retired after serving the nation in various capacities across the country during their call of duty.
The department was awoken with the sad news of the death of a former Assistant director of information Ben Munane who before his retirement was based at the Kenya News Agency’s National Editorial Desk.
Nyaga Nthiga who was a veteran journalist and served in various capacities during his tour of duty also passed on earlier in the week and is set to be laid to rest at his Kiambere home on the 9th of April.
Staff of the department eulogized their departed colleagues as officers who mentored them and served the country with utmost diligence leaving remarkable footprints of their contribution in offices they were deployed.
