Migori County Civil Society groups want Kenyan Members of Parliament to publicly declare their Coronavirus test results status to put to a rest speculation about the matter.
The civil society members said MPs are State Officers and that integrity behoves them to clear the air about claims some of them have contracted the virus hence assist contain the spread of the dreaded virus.
They said prominent world leaders have set a precedent and voluntarily posted their tests results in the public, a scenario which they said should be copied by our leaders in Kenya.
Led by Tobias Ogolla, they regretted that some members of Parliament were not happy when reportedly 17 of them tested positive.
Ogolla said that when leaders make their position clear on Covid-19 status it will reduce stigma among Kenyans hence containing the pandemic spread.
