The 5th Edition of the County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) Games entered the third day today at various venues in Bungoma town and its environs.
The sporting activity has brought together teams from 42 County governments from the country and is aimed at promoting interaction, competition, and showcasing of cultural diversity by the participants.
The County Assemblies are presenting teams in football for men, volleyball for men, volleyball for ladies, netball, tug of war for men, pool, Darts, Badminton, Table tennis, Swimming, Scrabble, chess, Choir set-piece, own composition songs, own choice songs, as well as Cultural dances.
The business community has recorded high sales as most of the hotels and accommodation areas are fully booked for the next five days.
Supermarkets and general food vendors have recorded high sales while motorcycle riders are making booming business as they transport participants from one venue to another. Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka said the event will go a long way in unifying members from different counties.
