Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has confirmed to Kenyans that the economy is on a positive trajectory.
Speaking today at an interdenominational prayer in Tapsagoi, Turbo constituency, Governor Lusaka pointed to the strengthening shilling against the dollar as a clear indicator of economic improvement.
Lusaka said despite the high public debt, he was optimistic that Kenyans would soon experience tangible changes in the economic landscape.
“Forget about the opposition. As tradition, they must oppose and criticize everything regardless whether it is good or bad but the truth is that things are improving,” said Lusaka.
In attendance were Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha, Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii, local MP Janet Sietenei, MPs Charles Gimose and Fred Ikana and Senator Samason Cheragei, among other leaders.
