A ten year old boy died on Wednesday after he was hit by a lorry which was ferrying sand in Kodera South location in Rachuonyo South Sub County.
The standard three boy identified as Obama Ouma was involved in the accident, while on his way home from school.
Confirming the accident, area Senior Chief, Joseph Ouma Mboga said that the lorry was being driven by a loader after the driver went to buy a bottle of soda in a nearby shop.
The chief said both the driver and the loader were arrested and taken to Oyugis police station. The Child’s body was taken to Rachuonyo sub county hospital mortuary.
