Junior athletes train at the Kenyatta stadium in Maralal town in preparation for tomorrow’s North Rift cross country championships that will be held at the same venue.
Five teams from five counties of the North rift namely Samburu, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia and Turkana will participate in the 6KM and 8KM race for junior athletes both women and men respectively, a 10KM race for senior men and women as well as a mixed race.
The winners will represent the North Rift region on 21st January in the Inter-Regional Cross country Championship to determine the National team.
